This handsome map covers the northeastern part of England. It is filled with information on the topography, forests, cities, and towns. The map is beautifully engraved in Mercator's characteristic style with a stipple engraved sea, flourishing calligraphy and is embellished with a large title cartouche. French text on verso.

A crisp impression and full original color on watermarked paper with wide margins, a hint of toning, and some light spots confined to the blank margins.
