This handsome chart depicts the southern coastline of the Balaeric Peninsula from Cape St. Vincent, Portugal to Cadiz, Spain. Towns, rivers, inlets, soundings, and anchorages are illustrated along the coast. A large inset map at top left focuses on the Bay of Cadiz, with a small bird's-eye plan of the city. The map is adorned with two compass roses and a drape-style cartouche.
