A fine map of Holstein including the city of Hamburg (here Hamborch). The map is fully engraved with forests, rivers, lakes and hundreds of villages. The map is adorned with a strapwork title cartouche and a moiré patterned sea. French text on verso.

Condition: A

A crisp impression and full original color on watermarked paper with a hint of toning and some faint spots in the blank margins. There is a professionally repaired centerfold separation in the bottom blank margin, far from image.
