This fascinating and complete puzzle set contains eight maps - the world in hemispheres, North America, South America, Africa, Asia, Oceania, Europe, and France. The maps measure 14.3 x 10.1” when assembled and are separated by pressed paper dividers. Each puzzle piece is mounted on thin wood with light green edging. The maps fit neatly into the original, unmarked paper board box. The circa date is based upon the United States boundary in the southwest reflecting the Gadsden Purchase.

This set has survived well given its intended purpose. The puzzles are in good to very good condition with light to moderate toning to the maps of the world, Europe, France and Australia. Minor soiling due to use. The box is in satisfactory condition with the sides somewhat loose but still intact. Top cover has begun to come unglued.
