This fine map covers much of southeastern Europe, centered on present-day Hungary and extending to include Vienna, Budapest, Belgrade, and Transylvania. The map is richly embellished with mountain ranges, forests, rivers and cities. Throughout the landscape are numerous depictions of shepherds with their flocks and wild game animals. Strapwork title cartouche and scale of miles. This is the second state from a Latin edition published in 1603.

Condition: A
A dark impression on watermarked paper with attractive color and light printer's ink residue. A short centerfold separation in the bottom blank margin has been closed on verso with archival tape. There are some chips and paper weakness in the bottom corners of the sheet, far from image.
