This supplement from Imago Mundi, the leading scholarly journal devoted exclusively to the history of cartography, is a full-size facsimile of Nova Totius Europae Descriptio, the highly decorative Hondius-Pieter van den Keere wall map of Europe. The map consists of eight separate sheets with two sheets of related text and illustrations that appeared around the borders of the original map. If joined the map measures approximately 65.5 x 53.2" from neatline to neatline. Published by N. Israel. The sheets tuck into a blue and white atlas folio hardcover with instructions for mounting on the inner cover.
