This charming bird's-eye map of the Canadian Maritimes is centered on the Gulf of St. Lawrence. Newfoundland has a very rudimentary shape with just a few place names off the eastern coast. St. Pierre is noted on Cape Breton Island, and further south is an enlarged Sable Island. A sea battle rages in the Atlantic. French text on verso.
