A. The Jerseys, &c. &c., by Thomas Conder, from William Gordon's The History of Rise, Progress and Establishment of the…United States, circa 1788, black & white (9.0 x 12.2"). Fine, early map of the state with much information including many towns, villages, roads, watershed and counties,and topographical information. The map extends to show New York City, parts of Long Island and Connecticut, and the Delaware Bay. The Whorekill Road is named, ending at Lewes. Important Revolutionary War places are marked with icons and some dates. Ref: Howes #G256. Condition: Issued folding on watermarked paper with a binding trim at lower left that has been replaced with old paper. (A)

B. New Jersey, by Anthony Finley, circa 1824, hand color (8.7 x 11.2"). Attractive map of the state delineated by county locating the roads, towns and settlements of the day. Extends to include simple plans of New York and Philadelphia. Engraved by Young & Delleker. Condition: Original color with a few faint spots. (B+)
