It is filled with details including soundings, currents, hazards, and more. Kelp, driftwood, and seaweed is noted. There are ten insets and several island profiles including Fernando de Noronha, Ascension Island, Trinidad, St. Helena, and Tristan da Cunha. The South Shetland and South Orkney Islands are shown in detail. There is plenty of information along the coasts of South America and Africa. An additional panel at right features a tidal chart, three magnetic charts, and four charts detailing the winds by season. The lighthouses are marked in original hand color in red and yellow. On three joined sheets.
