This finely engraved map covers northeastern Poland from about Gdansk to Lithuania, and includes the present-day Russian enclave of Kaliningrad Oblast. The map is filled with detail and engraved with forests, mountains, fortresses. A large strapwork title cartouche attributes the map to Caspar Henneberg von Ehrlichen, a German cartographer. Willem Blaeu's imprint appears in a decorative cartouche at bottom left. A legend, distance scale, ship, sea monster, and compass rose complete the composition. Latin text on verso, published between 1640-43.
