Tiny map depicting the duchies of Oswieczin and Zator in the southern part of Poland. The map is fully engraved with mountains, forests and a few cities and villages. The map was engraved by the brothers Ambrose and Ferdinand Arsenius who had been assistants to Frans Hogenburg and co-engravers of Ortelius' folio Theatrum. This series of maps was accompanied by text by Michel Coignet and was published by Jan B. Vrients. Latin text on verso.

A nice impression with attractive color. There is a damp stain at top right, just entering the border a bit, with a resulting chip that has been professionally repaired.
