An unusual map featuring the travels throughout the region of Jesus Christ and his apostles, Peter and Paul. The title is set within an ornate cartouche showing the three travelers. Large insets of the Holy Land divided among the twelve tribes and a plan of Jerusalem fill the bottom corners. Engraved by Delahaye. Pierre Moullart inherited the copper plates of his grandfather, Nicolas Sanson, and added the Sanson suffix to his name to publish maps. His business was not successful; therefore, his maps are very scarce.
