This is a beautifully engraved map, after Sanson, that shows the location of the twelve tribes in the Holy Land. The charming title cartouche is surrounded by cherubs with a scene of the Sermon on the Mount in the background. Engraved by J. Goree for Francois Halma's Kanaan.

Excellent impression and color on watermarked paper with four small worm holes that have been professionally infilled and a small abrasion in the title cartouche.
