This large map covers the southern part of Europe, the Mediterranean and Northern Africa. The details are largely devoted to Egypt and the Barbary Coast. The map is based on the cartography of D'Anville and is filled with notations in the otherwise mostly blank interior.

Condition: A

Original color on watermarked paper with an abrasion in the eastern Mediterranean that has been professionally repaired with a minute amount of lettering replaced in facsimile. Issued folding with a professionally repaired fold separation confined to bottom blank margin.
