Boldly engraved small map showing California as an Island with an indented northern coast, and Mozeemleck and the Str. of Annian to the north. R. Longue and Gnacsitares extend to the west of the Mississippi River. Names the Gulf of California. Filled with trade-winds and directions between 30° north and south latitude.

Condition: A
A dark, crisp impression with old color on watermarked paper. There is very faint toning along a horizontal strip through the center of the map and a tiny abrasion in border at bottom right.
