This attractive map of Pennsylvania and New Jersey shows up-to-date county development, including the newly organized Potter County in northern Pennsylvania (1835) but prior to Monroe County in the east (1836). Topography, rivers, towns and settlements are depicted as well as both completed and proposed railroads and canals.

Original color with a few faint spots and an edge tear confined to the bottom blank margin that is closed on verso with archival material.
