This 52-page tourist guide of the region instructs the reader on "Where to Walk" and "Where to Ride" within the vicinity of the Catskill Mountain House. It features two maps of the area including "Map of All Points of Interest Within Four Miles of the Catskill Mountain House" (26.5 x 14.4") which shows topography, rivers, lakes, roads, property owners, and "Rip Van Winkle's House." The second is entitled "Map of Greene Co. NY...The Great Summer Resort Among the Catskills" (13.5 x 8.5"). The guide includes several illustrations including Kaaterskill Falls, Haines' Falls and a depiction of Rip Van Winkle. Numerous advertisements throughout with light blue paper wrappers. Published by Van Loan & Van Gorden in Catskill, NY.

Condition: B+

Overall the contents are very good with light toning. The larger map has faint offsetting and some archival repairs along the folds as well as a few unrepaired fold separations. The smaller, colored map is near fine. Light soiling to covers.
