This lot consists of two striking WWII progress maps printed in a similar style with bold coloring. The first, compliments of United Airlines, shows the entire world with numerous dated events up to March 1944. Several ships and planes fill the oceans, along with two illustrations showing the distances from various points to Tokyo and Berlin. Includes a small inset at bottom, "Invasion Points - Back the Attack." The bottom margin lists this as the 15th Edition. The second map focuses on the war zones excluding the Americas with dated events ending in late 1945. War photos in the map and to the side illustrate some of the major events of WWII. The bottom margin lists this as the Tenth Edition. The verso has printed self covers with title "Map of World Victory" and a price of $0.25. Both maps were produced by C.C. Petersen Advertising in Toronto.
