This very uncommon and elaborate plan of Moscow is by G.L. De Laveau. Centered on the Kremlin and Red Square, the city is divided into 17 arrondissemens, which are identified by key in both French and Russian. Streets, parks, and fortifications are depicted, and the Moskva River snakes through the city. The title also appears in both French and Russian. Engraved by F. Kaiser, credited just below the titles, and published by Auguste Semen.

There is light soiling, several light manuscript notations in pencil, and an unengraved portion of the sheet at top left that has been replaced with old paper.
