This whimsical celestial chart illustrates Tycho Brahe's cosmological system describing the complex movements of Venus and Mercury as viewed from earth. The center of the chart is filled with a delightful scene of cherubs swinging through the clouds. Two text panels at lower corners describe the movements of the planets.

A nice example on watermarked paper with a hint of toning along the centerfold at bottom and minor printer's ink residue.
