This is a facsimile edition of Philip Pittman's 1770 book, the first to describe in English French towns and places from New Orleans to St. Louis. It includes an introduction by John Francis McDermott. Hardbound in brown faux-leather covered boards with gilt titles at spine and marbled endpapers. 124 pp and 8 maps (7 folding).
