This three volume set by Patricio H. Randle covers the history and development of Argentina through maps. It includes a massive atlas with hundreds of maps of the country in printed color. The maps track Argentina's evolution through a wide variety of maps showing ethnographic details, explorations, political divisions, agricultural information, population, roads, railroads, telephone wires, urban development, and more. Accompanying the atlas are two volumes, Memoria and Serie de Estadisticas Historicas, which provide information corresponding to each map and tables of relevant statistics, respectively. Text in Spanish. The measurement shown is for the atlas; the other volumes measure 10.9 x 14.5". All three volumes are hardbound in tan buckram covers with red titles and a grey map of Argentina with a compass rose and sailing ships. The atlas is 314 pp., Memoria is 147 pp., and Serie de Estadisticas Historicas is 283pp.
