This 40 page bulletin, authored by Albert W. Giles, describes the physical features of eastern Virginia, its natural resources, and the region surrounding Camp Lee. Included with the text are 20 plates of illustrations including two large USGS folding maps at the back: Camp Lee Quadrangle (13.7 x 22.5") and Amelia Quadrangle (14 x 17.5"). The report's frontispiece is a 20 x 7" panoramic photograph of a portion of Camp Lee. Published by the Virginia Geological Survey.

The two folding maps at the back are very good with light toning and a few tiny splits at fold intersections. Text and other plates are very good with occasional light toning, mostly in the blank margins. Paper wrappers are toned at top along with a previous owner's stamp.
