This handsome map of Lancashire includes good detail on political boundaries, towns, forests, and rivers. Adorned with the Royal Arms, two sailing ships, a strapwork distance scale with a putto, and a large title cartouche featuring a farmer. Also included are the arms of two important families in the region, as well as two blank arms. Latin text on verso, published between 1646-62.

A nice impression with attractive color, light printer's ink residue in the sea and a few spots of foxing. Remnants of hinge tape on verso.
