This enormous and decorative facsimile plan of London and the South Bank was reproduced by the London Topographical Society in 1905 on eight separate sheets. The map is a reproduction of Ralph Agas' map of c.1560, which was once in the possession of Sir Hans Sloane. The depiction of Elizabethan London still has, surprisingly, much in common with today's street layout and structure. The Royal Arms appears at top left and the Arms of the City of London at top right.

A superb impression on clean, bright sheets.
