Quad's map of Scandinavia follows the work of Gerard de Jode. Despite its small size, the map retains much of the nomenclature and geographical details from De Jode's folio-sized map. The shape of Norway and Sweden is still rudimentary, with enlarged lakes inland and loosely defined islands surrounding the mainland. Engraved by Johannes Bussemacher. German text on verso.

A nice impression on watermarked paper with minor toning along the centerfold and light soiling. There are two tiny tears and one small hole along the centerfold, as well as a short tear confined to the bottom blank margin.
