Attractive regional map of Germany centers on Mansfeld and Eisleben with nice detail along the Wipper and Saale Rivers. Based on the cartography of Stella and Mellinger, the map is graphically engraved to illustrate the forests and marshes and filled with place names. Engraved by Franz Hogenberg. Latin text on verso.

Attractive color on watermarked paper with professional repairs to several short centerfold separations at top and bottom. There is a crease at top right, well away from image, and marginal soiling.
