This handsome map of Slovenia and Croatia features good detail of towns and the topography of the land. A large inset at top depicts a panoramic view of Laybach (Ljubjana), and a smaller inset at bottom shows Cirkhnitzer See (Lake Cerknica) in southwestern Slovenia. The figurative title cartouche features putti, Cybele with her turreted headpiece, a river god, and the Carniola coat of arms. The map is further adorned with ships sailing the Adriatic Sea.

A nice impression with full original color, very light toning along the centerfold, some spots of printer's ink residue, and a short centerfold separation in the bottom blank margin.
