Published in October 1749, this chart depicts the predicted path of a solar eclipse in 1750. The various arcs relate to the visibility of the eclipse in different cities in Europe, including St. Petersburg, Rome, Berlin, Nuremberg, and Lisbon. This chart was created by George Moritz Lowitz, one of the main collaborators of the Homann Heirs company.
