This rare piece of ephemera promotes the Army Services show planned in Central Park from June 11th-24th, 1944. Situated between 86th Street and Belvedere Lake, the map shows pictorial representations of the various Army services including the Corps of Engineers, Signal Corps and Chemical Warfare Service to name a few. The show was designed to draw support for government bonds used to support the conflict abroad with the notes "Victory Is Dear - Buy War Bonds" and "From The Factory To The Front America Shows the Way!" The verso contains illustrations of some of the exhibits on hand including camouflage map reproduction, a treadway bridge, and crash-fire trucks. The map was produced by the Corps of Engineers.
