This unusual little map shows Yorktown and its environs, the scene of the decisive siege and battle during the Revolutionary War. Locates the camps of important military commanders including Generals Washington, Knox, and Clinton, Rochambeau, Steuben, Gov. Nelson, La Fayette, and many more. From the French edition of John Marshall's Life of Washington.

A nice impression, issued folding, now pressed with a minor printer's crease at bottom right and a couple of tiny, insignificant spots. Marginal soiling and remnants of hinge tape on verso.
