This finely engraved map on Mercator's Projection is centered on the Pacific Ocean. The map depicts the physical characteristics of the earth and shows only basic political detail. Australia is Nouvelle Hollande and is completely blank in the interior with just a few place names on the coast. Tasmania is separate.

Issued folding on watermarked paper with a few small splits at fold intersections and several fold separations confined to the blank margins. There is a bit of light toning along the folds and a binding trim at right with an associated 1" binding tear closed on verso with archival tape.
