A handsome map that depicts all of the primary harbors around the coast of South America, the Falkland Islands, and the Strait of Magellan, which separates Terra del Fuego from Patagonia. Additionally, the map locates the Amazon River, the Rio de la Plata and Buenos Ayres, Salvador, and Cape Horn. A tiny remnant of the mythical lake L. Parime is still shown in Guyana.
