This rare bird's-eye plan of Cartagena and Cartagena Bay was published during the "Silver Age" of the city, in which there was great expansion of the city, its population and its economy. Roads, towns, fields and forts are shown, with a lettered key identifying important locations. Engraved by Bayly and published in Speer's The West-India Pilot, sold by Samuel Hooper.
We were not able to find any examples of this map being listed for sale over the last 30 years.
