Fine miniature map of Ireland with major cities, rivers and lakes named. North is oriented to the right of the map and it is adorned with a strapwork title cartouche and simple scale of miles. The map was engraved by the brothers Ambrose and Ferdinand Arsenius who had been assistants to Frans Hogenburg and co-engravers of Ortelius' folio Theatrum. This series of maps was accompanied by text by Michel Coignet and was published by Jan van Keerbergen. Latin text on verso.

A crisp impression on a clean, bright sheet of watermarked paper with a professionally repaired chip at top right, just outside of image, and a small tear confined to right blank margin.
