This finely engraved map illustrates ancient Gaul. It incorporates France, Belgium, Luxembourg and portions of Switzerland, Italy and England. An inset entitled Provinciae Romanae details the region of Provence and a smaller inset of Batavorum Insulae shows the ancient region of Batavia in Belgium. The map is extremely detailed and filled with historical information.
