This striking map centers on Germany and extends from the Rhine–Meuse–Scheldt delta in the Netherlands east to Grodno, Belarus, and as far south as Lake Constance. Political divisions, towns and cities, rivers, and some topographical details are shown, with additional notes throughout the map remarking on topography. A cartouche at bottom right contains historical notes. Printed by Brehier, engraved by Jenotte, and published by Librairie Classique d'Eugene Belin.

There is light scattered foxing, a small hole by the centerfold, and some short edge tears closed on verso with cello tape, a couple of which just pass the neatline.
