Alluring little map of Lake Como based on the cartography of Paulus Jovius and adorned with a strapwork title cartouche. The map was engraved by the brothers Ambrose and Ferdinand Arsenius who had been assistants to Frans Hogenburg and co-engravers of Ortelius' folio Theatrum. This series of maps was accompanied by text by Michel Coignet and was published by Jan van Keerbergen. Latin text on verso.

A crisp impression on a clean, bright sheet with a professionally repaired chip at top right, just outside of image, with a short tear and hole in border also professionally repaired.
