This map of Asiatic Russia covers the region from Tomsk eastward to include the Kamchatka and Sakhalin. The highly detailed map also extends southwest to the Gobi Desert. In the upper left corner is a notation explaining that distance scales were not possible because of the northerly conic projection used. A decorative rococo-style title cartouche fills the lower right corner of the map.
