This impressive atlas contains 258 maps according to the table of contents (on around 100 sheets). A majority of the maps emphasize the railroad network in the United States, with each state map containing a color-coded key identifying the various railroads. Each of the tipped in maps has a corresponding index describing the railroads, counties and towns. In addition to the maps of states and international regions, the atlas also contains 62 maps of important cities (mostly U.S.). As with most of Cram's atlases, this example is not short on information, including 562 pp. of maps and text with the supplements "Special List of Attorneys" and "Select Bank List." Hardbound in brown cloth with title on front cover and spine.
