This is a facsimile of one of the most important publications on Africa issued in the 16th century. The maps included were surprisingly accurate for their era and were partly drawn on a special modification of the Donis projection. It features a bibliographical note by R.A. Skelton. 400 pp, including 12 double-page maps. Hardbound in tan cloth with gilt insignia on the front cover and titles in gilt on a black ground along the spine, and a dust jacket.
