This is an elegantly engraved Italian map of North and South America. The United States are shown east of the Mississippi River, which is the western boundaries of the southern states. Lands to the west of the Mississippi are labeled Luisiana, Nuovo Messico, and Nuova Albione. Alaska is shown with a rudimentary shape.

Issued folding with a few splits along the folds that have been closed with archival tape, light extraneous creasing, and some small light stains. There is a binding trim at bottom left close to neatline.
