This promotional piece concerning Idaho Territory was published for the "Homeseeker, Capitalist and Tourist." At the front of the guide is a small Map of Idaho Territory that was compiled from both surveys and the "personal examination" of Robert Strahorn. The map shows both completed railroads and railroads under construction, with the Oregon Branch of the Union Pacific Railroad under construction from Pocatello to Baker City, including Boise City. Yellowstone National Park is shown along the right map border. The 88 pages of text is augmented by numerous illustrations of the region, and the rear wrapper contains a map of the western United States showing the Union & Central Pacific Railroads. Published by the Idaho Legislature in Boise City.
