This handsome map of Missouri shows towns and cities, counties, roads, railroads, canals, and more. Despite the copyright date of 1856, county configuration is only current to 1851, with new counties such as Vernon, Bollinger, and Dent delineated. Numerous Indian tribes are named in neighboring Kansas and Indian Territory.
