This charming small map of Aragon depicts the mountains, rivers, and cities of the region, with north oriented to the right. The map is centered approximately on Zaragoza (Caragoca) and extends west to Calahorra and Cuenca, north to Pamplona, and east to Lerida. This map only appeared in the 1648 and 1651 German editions of Jansson's Atlas Minor, and is therefore very rare. German text on verso.

Nice impression and color on watermarked paper with minor show-through of text on verso and foxing confined to the blank margins.
