Attractive map of the Roman Empire covering much of Central Europe from eastern France to Poland and Hungary and into the Gulf of Venice. Includes good detail of the roads, villages, towns, watershed, forests, and more. Adorned by a decorative cartouche featuring putti surrounding the emperor.

On watermarked paper with light toning and a centerfold separation confined to the bottom blank margin. There are a few faint manuscript notations in the blank margins.
