Two fine maps on a full folio sheet; the region centered on Venice, Padova and Vicenza in one map and Puglia and Calabria in the other. Both maps were based on the cartography of Jacobo Gastaldi. Embellished with strapwork cartouches, coat of arms, sailing ship and sea monster. Latin text on verso.

References: Van den Broecke #121.

Condition: B+

Full original color on paper with Ortelius' common crossed arrows watermark. There is a stain between the two maps and moderate soiling in the blank margins. The left and right edges of the sheet have been professionally backed in archival paper to repair a number of small tears and chips.
