This lovely map covers central Italy including Tuscany and the Papal State. It is richly decorated with a sea battle, fishing boats, and two elaborate cartouches. The title cartouche depicts the Pope with the Saints Peter and Paul, and the distance scale is topped with a pair of putti holding up a flag with the Papal coat of arms. Latin text on verso.

Condition: B
Full original color with moderate toning, minor foxing, and a printer's crease at bottom right. A centerfold separation that enters 5" into map at bottom and two 1" cracks have all been repaired with old paper on verso.
