This decorative copper engraved map features the cities of Avignon and Orange, as well as several smaller villages. The mountains and forests that distinguish the topography of the region are graphically depicted. In addition to the title cartouche, there is a dedication cartouche topped with a coat-of-arms. North is oriented at the bottom of the map. Blaeu's Latinized name is seen in the lower right corner of the image, "Guiljelmus Janssonius Ceasius." Latin text on verso.

Condition: A
Nice impression and color on a sheet with wide original margins. There are centerfold separations confined to the top and bottom blank margins that have been closed on verso with archival tape.
