This early map of Australia has a completely blank interior that is occupied by an inset showing the settled regions of New South Wales, including Sydney. The mainland is composed of only New South Wales and New Holland and identifies numerous place names along the coast. The map extends to include portions of Timor, Flores, Java and New Guinea.
